The downloadable desktop calendars for October 2011 are
here.
All you need to do to make one of these images your computer
desktop is to follow these simple instructions:
1 - Choose which image you'd like and left-click on the
thumbnail to bring up the full size image.
2 - Right-click (or ctrl-click if you have an Apple Mac) on the
image and choose the option that says, "Set as Desktop Background",
or words to that effect.
3 - If the image does not fit your desktop background neatly,
you may have to go to your preferences screen (on a Mac: System
Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop; on
Windows: Control Panel > Display > Desktop) and choose "Fit
to screen" as the display mode of your background image.
