Found a Bead

In January 2009 we asked our retailers all over the world to distribute around their neighbourhood, 5-10 Smiley pictures with a smiley bead attached and a wish that, whoever found it, would bring a smile into their own or somebody else's lives. On the note was a website address and finders were encouraged to go there and write about how they found or were given the bead. More than 3,000 people from 32 different countries told us their personal smiley story.

This must have been the happiest thing we have ever done here at Trollbeads. We have enjoyed everybody's stories immensely, they have all been amazing, touching, creative, fun and awesome. From people sending up smiley helium balloons with beads tied to them, to dropping them into a stranger's handbag, to finding them tied to the statue in the local city square.

These beads are not and have never been for sale! This was solely a onetime event.
