African Pride

The male lion is easy to spot, with his huge, distinctive mane of hair. Few animals would dare challenge a lion, even in periods of extreme hunger or battle for territory. He is called the King of Beasts, because that's exactly what he is. The lion is a popular symbol of royalty, stateliness and bravery.
